One of the greatest things that disturbs me is the number of people who don’t really ask questions. When I say really, I mean, asking questions, with the intent of getting an answer. It’s just crazy to me. I rarely ask questions, just to the air. To God, yes, but not just spoken thoughts. If I ask a question, if it is possible to find the answer, I will look. I’ll really go out, ask professors, do a thorough online search, crosscheck blogs, find books (more old than new) and examine my own life before I just throw my hands up.

I wouldn’t know what to do if I just mindlessly lived life accepting biased answers. I always know a biased answer, because it usually accommodates someone’s life choice. If someone can say they changed because of information they learned, can deliver it without getting irrationally angry, makes a logical argument, and can be respectful I’m much more apt to think they are not biased. Granted that doesn’t mean they’re not wrong. At least they’re not biased.

Not everyone has to hold the same worldview as me. I like different people. I want people to think differently than me. It makes it so much more interesting to speak with people. My issue is when someone blindly walks through life, not even thinking that there is another way.

I’m not saying they have to find the way. Just ask if its there or if its available.

When I was working at that restaurant and my co-workers kept saying, “It’s Simulation Saturday” and laughing, I honestly didn’t know why that was funny. They obviously heard it somewhere, why they were repeating it. So. You’re living in a video game? You believe there’s someone in the sky controlling you? Why is being a video game character more desirable than being an autonomous individual, loved by God? Strangeness

Well. I can’t change the world and all of the people in it. But I can touch the lives of the people around me and the people who view my stuff.
